Nursery Fees

Fees

Fees are due in advance and are invoiced mid-month for the following month. Fees are calculated based on the 51 weeks of the year Barnkids is open and then annualised into 12 monthly payments, so you pay the same each month. Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays and inset days, which are payable in full as our monthly costs remain the same.

Discounts

Multi-day discounts are available for children attending 5 days a week (10%) or Sibling Discounts (10%), if you have two or more children attending the nursery at the same time. The discount is applied to the eldest sibling.

Funding

Government funding is available to all 3-year old children from the school term following their third birthday. All children are eligible for 15 hours of funding, some children may be eligible for 30 hours of funding dependent on your personal circumstances. The funding is only available for 38 weeks of the year, so you will still receive a monthly charge which covers the additional weeks your child attends and any additional hours your child attends during the week. We take the same approach as with our regular fees and split the funding evenly over the 51 weeks we are open.

An additional services and quality premium (ASQP) charge is applied to funded hours. This additional charge covers meals, snacks, Forest school and other consumables that make our nursery an amazing place to attend. Tax Free Childcare

Tax Free childcare is a government run scheme that provides a significant cost on your nursery fees each month. For every £8 you pay through this scheme, the government will contribute £2 in return up to £2,000 a year, per child.
