After School & Holiday Club

Barn Holiday Club (aged 4-10 years)

Having fun is at the centre of Holiday Club. Come rain or shine we plan a variety of seasonal themed activities, all age specific, both indoors and out, that are designed to engage and stimulate. We make good use of the pasture and woodland, as well as the spaces closer to the Barn, including the back garden, Dutch Barn and Little Barn. Dressing for the time of year is very important as we will be outdoors as much as we can.

Your child will have the opportunity to experience:

  • Trips to Forest Camp every morning with ongoing themes and projects
  • Seasonal arts and crafts
  • Den building
  • Table football
  • Cooking activities
  • Team games and competitions
  • Sports activities which include football, cricket, basketball and table tennis
  • Gardening

Our clubs are very popular, we encourage you to book early. We are open most holidays, but please refer to “Term Dates and Fees” for details regarding sessions times, closures and fees.

Healthy Snacks and Meals

Our snack bar opens in the mid-morning and afternoon to keep children going throughout the day. Children can choose from a selection of healthy snacks that include seasonal fruits and vegetables with houmous and savoury items such as breadsticks, rice cakes, plain biscuits, cheese and crackers. Fresh drinking water is available to all the children throughout the day however your child is welcome to bring their own named water bottle along too.

Until September 2017 all children who attend Holiday Club will need a packed lunch to tuck into with the rest of the group in a social dining environment. Understanding each child’s dietary requirements and allergies allows us to refine our menus, snack selection and plan cooking activities allowing us to maintain a safe environment. We have a strict no nut policy and would ask you to consider this when making your child’s lunch.
